A- Spousal Sponsorship
Canadian citizens and permanent residents may sponsor their spouse, common-law partner, same-sex partner, conjugal partner, or dependent children for permanent residence in Canada. This program applies to family members residing both within and outside Canada. Both the sponsor and the sponsored individual must satisfy specific eligibility requirements established by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
B- Parental Sponsorship
Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible to sponsor their parents and grandparents for immigration to Canada. Successfully sponsored parents and grandparents receive permanent resident status, granting them the right to remain in Canada indefinitely. This status enables them to work, pursue education, and access essential social services, including healthcare coverage.
