Federal Skilled Workers
The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) allows individuals with at least one year of skilled work experience to apply for permanent residency. Applicants for this program must have a minimum level of education, skilled work experience, and language skills. Applicants are also evaluated based on their age, ability to settle in Canada and the existence of a valid job offer.
Federal Skilled Trades
The Express Entry System is used to manage applications for the Federal Skilled Trades Program. This Program is designed for people who want to become permanent residents because of their qualifications in a skilled trade. The Federal Skilled Trades Program is intended to facilitate the entry of skilled trades persons from other countries into the Canadian labor force.
Canadian Experience Class
Temporary foreign workers and/or foreign students who have completed their studies in Canada can often make the successful transition to permanent residency, their familiarity with Canadian society and ability to contribute to the Canadian economy makes this easier. Knowledge of English or French, as well as relevant work experience, are required.
Provincial Nominee Program
It has different ways to apply, applicants must be nominated by a Canadian province or territory to apply for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program. Your application will be considered by the province based on its immigration needs and your genuine intention to settle there. After being nominated, the applicant must file a separate application for permanent residence with Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The application is then evaluated in accordance with Canadian immigration regulations.
